I’m a huge, huge fan of Oregon’s Willamette Valley and specifically the Pinot Noirs coming out of that region. Willamette Pinots are consistently among the very best and usually are much more reasonably priced than Burgundy Pinots.

Recently one of my favorite wine reviewers, the ever entertaining Gary Vaynerchuk, tasted three Willamette Pinots and as always provided some great notes.

I like Train, though I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan (and at this point a little piece of me dies every time I hear “Soul Sister”). Nonetheless I enjoyed this interview with Jimmy. One of the more fun tastings I’ve seen in a while on WLTV.

Love him or hate him, Gary Vaynerchuk is entertaining to watch. I’m on the side of “love” as I could listen to his wine descriptors all day long. I also admire how he’s made a somewhat intimidating industry fun and approachable.
