You've perked my interest in trying an Ohio Norton wine. 232 Norton wineries today in 23 states with Ohio having three vineyards producing this unique wine (Henke, Lakeside, and coming soon to Meranda-Nixon). I hope you will have the opportunity to read Todd Kliman's book, The Wild Vine, which is spins a wonderful biography of the Norton grape/wine. If traveling, try some of the following Norton wines: White Oaks (AL); Mount Bethel (AR), Three Sister (GA); Century Farms (TN); Elk Creek (KY); Illinois Cellars (IL)., Castle Gruen, Cooper, DuCard, Chrysalis (VA); Stone Mountain Cellars (PA), Heinrichshaus, Stone Hill's Cross J, Montelle, Robller, Peaceful Bend and Westphalia (MO).
